My Peacemaker Signature

by | Aug 26, 2019 | Collaborative Divorce

As a huge fan of Collaborative Divorce and Collaborative Law, and dedicated practitioner, I eagerly attend conferences about how to better practice in a collaborative fashion. At one such seminar, a facilitator took us through what is known as the peacemaker signature.

What is that? It’s how you see yourself, how you want to practice law, what is important to you, and how you articulate and carve out your professional identity.

In short, it’s your personal brand, style, and approach to the practice of law.

This is the first in a series of blogs I’m writing about my peacemaker signature, to share with the public how we at Transitions Legal, and how I specifically, practice family law.

The signature is your symbol, what you want to show in the world, how you show up to a Collaborative case.

The words written down help you build your curated perception, how you step out into the world, how you develop your identity and live it.

So, here it goes.

My peacemaker signature:

I am a compassionate, passionate and detail-oriented peacemaker. My determination and commitment to the process, understanding the importance of being balanced and having balance in your life will help my clients achieve their goals. I value happiness; I value the ability to make your own decisions.

My values:

Balance, Compassion, and Happiness

My attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, determined, passionate, responsible, self-aware, self-motivated.

Stay tuned for explanations and stories that dive deeply into the notions of who I am as a peacemaker, and how my approach to Collaborative Divorce and Family Law will help bring peace to your family.
