Haven is a Pontiac-based nonprofit dedicated to eliminating domestic violence and sexual assault, recognized nationally as a leader in promoting safe, accountable communities free of sexual assault and domestic violence. As Oakland County’s only comprehensive program for victims of domestic violence, HAVEN provides shelter, counseling, advocacy and educational programming to nearly 20,000 people each year.

Prior to joining Haven, Amna Osman owned and operated Osman Consulting in Grand Blanc, offering leadership development, strategic planning and board development services. Before creating her business Ms. Osman dedicated five years to the Michigan Department of Community Health, overseeing HIV/AIDS prevention and intervention programs, organizational development, human resources and fiscal management and more. Ms. Osman holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a diploma from the South Carolina State University & the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. She also completed the Advanced Leadership Program at Michigan State University as a nominated participant, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the United States International University in San Diego. She is currently in a doctorate program at Antioch University focusing on Appreciative Leadership.
